Is Loud Air Noise Common with RST Suspension

I’ve been noticing strange behavior with my air suspension on my Silverado EV RST and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced the same.

First off, there’s this intermittent loud air noise coming from the suspension. It almost sounds like the compressor is topping off and releasing excess pressure. The first time it happened, I honestly thought I had blown a tire, it was that loud. Is this normal, or should I have it checked out?

Secondly, and maybe related, my truck seems to deflate overnight. When I head out in the morning, it’s sitting super low, practically on the bump stops. It takes a few minutes of driving before the suspension inflates back to normal. Is this expected behavior for the air suspension system, or could there be a leak or some kind of malfunction?

Would love to hear from others, whether you’re driving a Silverado EV or even a Sierra EV with a similar setup. It’d be great to know if this is par for the course or something I should be concerned about.

The first few days after I bought it, my RST air release sounded loud. Even though it seems regular today, I still notice it when I park. I believe the air release is simply readjusting the height because I usually hear the sound after I park and a few passengers get out, lowering the weight.
The truck will drop when parked if I have the "easy exit/entry" option selected; if not, it maintains its predetermined height.
