I’ve been looking at pictures of the Silverado and thinking about the black section that cuts into the painted rear pillar. It seems like it might be an attachment to the body, and without it, the design looks closer to the Sierra. I’m curious if this sail section can be easily removed, especially on non-black SEV models. Has anyone had a closer look or experience with this?

That black section seems like part of the design, but I haven’t looked into removing it. It might be attached, but checking with a dealer could confirm if it’s removable.

I might ask a dealer to confirm if it's just an attachment, removing or customizing it could be interesting. Has anyone seen one up close in person?
