We’ve reached an interesting turning point in vehicle design, instead of EVs trying to look like gas-powered cars, we’re seeing ICE vehicles take design cues from EVs.
Take VW, for example, they’re slimming down front grilles to give them a more “modern” EV-like look. Traditionally, EVs mimicked gas vehicles by adding fake grilles, but now, trucks like the Silverado EV and Sierra EV are ditching that altogether.
Are we witnessing a permanent design shift? Will future ICE vehicles fully embrace a sleeker, grille-less look? Or will automakers eventually separate ICE and EV designs again? Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts, are you a fan of this trend?"
