Hey everyone, I recently discovered a Siri button on my new non-electric F150's infotainment system, which works even when CarPlay isn't active. It’s been super handy for switching between CarPlay and the native system during those occasional glitches (especially on calls).

It got me wondering, does the Silverado EV RST have a similar Siri button? I know GM is moving away from CarPlay on some models, so this kind of feature would be really useful.

If anyone has an RST and can confirm whether it has this, I’d love to hear about it!

From what I’ve seen, GM’s leaning heavily into their proprietary Google-powered infotainment system for newer EVs like the Silverado. It might not have a standalone Siri button, but I wonder if there’s a way to configure a voice command shortcut or something similar.

You have to long-press the Phone Answer/call/vehicle voice assistant button on the steering wheel if you want to activate your phone's voice assistant.
