Hey everyone! Guys, I am trying to replace the water pump and belt on my 2018 Silverado V8 Hybrid 5.3 and having a tough time finding the right parts. I found that the water pump part number is 126902046 and the belt part number is 12669975. The dealership mentioned both are on backorder, so no luck there. Has anyone else had trouble finding these parts? Any suggestions on alternative sources or compatible parts would be appreciated!

It’s frustrating when parts are on backorder! Try checking with online retailers like RockAuto or AutoZone, or consider aftermarket parts.

Have you tried reaching out to the manufacturer to get these parts?

I have had the same problem. It has been almost 1 year my truck has set in the driveway. What a joke. I have contacted gm over and over and get the run around. I was told to take to a dealer. So I paid to have towed just so they could tell me what I already knew. Needs a water pump none available. I could go on and on. Won’t bore you. As of this morning same bs! Retooling blah blah blah.
