P2797 Code on Chevy 1500 Hybrid

So my dad’s 2005 Chevy 1500 Hybrid is throwing a P2797 code, and it looks like it’s tied to the auxiliary transmission fluid pump. But seriously, we haven’t really been able to dig up much info online about it.
Anyone here have any ideas on what might be causing it?

The P2797 code typically points to an issue with the auxiliary transmission fluid pump or its circuit. It could be a faulty pump, sensor, or wiring.

Yep, that’s what we were thinking too. We checked the wiring and connectors, and everything looks good on that end, but we're still not totally sure if the pump itself might be going out; even though the wiring seems fine.
