Wiper Blade Skipping

I’ve got this weird issue with the windshield wiper on my Siverado. The left blade keeps skipping around two-inch section in the middle of the windshield, and it’s driving me nuts. I’ve cleaned both the blade and the windshield, but it’s still happening. Could it be a wonky wiper blade or is the wiper motor the culprit?

If both blades are basically the same, try swapping their spots to see if the blade itself is the troublemaker.

The wiper on my driver's side does the same thing. I haven’t gotten around to swapping the blade yet, but once I do, that should fix it right up.

Oh, I’ve got those stripes too, though luckily it's just on the passenger side. Could’ve been worse!
