The 2024 GMC Sierra EV is making a name for itself, how does it stack up against the Silverado EV and probably other EVs?

Both trucks share the Ultium platform and impressive specs, but GMC seems to have gone all out with luxury touches, a massive battery, and some cutting-edge tech like Crabwalk and hands-free driving.

For Silverado EV owners, do you think the Sierra EV brings enough extra value to justify its nearly $100k price tag? Or do you think the Silverado EV strikes the better balance of practicality, performance, and price?

I’m especially curious to hear from anyone who’s had hands-on experience with either (or both!) trucks. With the Sierra EV entering the “supertruck” conversation, I’m wondering if GM’s lineup is creating some friendly sibling rivalry in the EV truck world.

The GMC Sierra EV undoubtedly has some cool features and a more luxurious feel. Still, for the majority of people, the Silverado EV is likely to be more cost-effective. It has comparable performance and range, but at a lower price.

The Sierra EV's additional features are desirable, but they come at a cost. You must decide whether they are worth the extra money. I believe the Silverado EV strikes an appropriate balance between luxury and practicality.

It'll be interesting to see how these two trucks compete. I'm curious if the Sierra EV's extra features will be enough to justify the higher price.
