Hey all, I want to mount a Thinkware U3000 rear dash cam on a Silverado with a midgate.
You know that the rear window is removable and stows in the seat back. In this case, a permanent mount wouldn't be an option.
Any ideas of something that could be removed if I need to?

I came across this simple fix while searching for a solution to mount a rear dash cam in a Silverado. Since the rear window is removable, this mount keeps the cam secure but allows easy removal when opening the midgate.

Check this out:

Just to clear things up, is the rear dash cam facing out the back of the car, or is it mounted at the rear but aimed toward the front?
