Deciding between the Silverado EV and Sierra EV

I held off on making a reservation, but I'm deciding between the Silverado EV and the Sierra EV. Honestly, the Sierra EV has such great curb appeal that I’m leaning toward it, it just looks amazing to me. I’m in no rush, so I might change my mind, but for now, the Sierra is hard to ignore...

As a former mechanic at GM and other dealerships, I'm not touching either of those new trucks for at least the first couple of years. I'll wait and see how they hold up. After that, I'll definitely test drive both and compare them to the competition.

Honestly, the plastic on my GM van right now couldn't be any worse, so I'm not too worried about that.

The most important thing for me is that I can easily get stuff from the cab to the bed. I'm thinking about getting a canopy to make it more like a van, so that's a big factor.

Not a fan! The red nameplate feels outdated and clashes with the modern colors, an all-black version would be better. Same goes for the gold bowtie, black would look cleaner. Plus, the dimpled faux-grill isn’t doing it for me. The Silverado looks better overall.
