Comparing the 2024 Silverado EV and 2013 avalanche

I recently came across some interesting size differences between the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV and the 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche. The Silverado EV is significantly larger, measuring 233.1 inches in length, 81.6 inches in width, and has a 145.7-inch wheelbase. This gives it more space and stability compared to the Avalanche, which is 221.3 inches long, 79.1 inches wide, and has a 130-inch wheelbase.

Both vehicles have similar ground clearance, but the Silverado EV has slightly less at 8.9 inches compared to the Avalanche’s 9.1 inches. Note that if the Avalanche had adaptive suspension, it could adjust its height by 2 inches up or down.

The size difference is pretty noticeable, the Avalanche’s adaptive suspension definitely adds flexibility, but the Silverado EV’s extra space and stability are big perks.
