That glass roof on the LT looks cool, and my family's pretty tall, so the extra headroom would be great. But I'm worried about it getting too hot and bright. And it's kinda dumb that you have to buy the premium package first, even though it's not included. Plus, we have no clue how much it costs! Is it worth it?

I’m 6'4" and had plenty of headroom in the LT, so no complaints there. The only big downside for me is the lack of a retractable shade for the glass roof feels like I’m driving a fishbowl. And after rolling my last truck I’m definitely Team Steel over Glass

The glass roof just isn’t for me. Sometimes, the sunlight coming through at weird angles really messes with my eyes. And even with the tinting, it still feels like a sauna in here. Honestly, I’d rather it have a sliding cover or just not be there at all.

I’m all about the extra headroom, but I agree with the others—the heat from the glass roof can be a dealbreaker. If they at least threw in a shade or something to block out the sun, that'd make it way more worth it.

The requirement to buy a premium package without knowing the actual cost is frustrating. Until we have more information about its heat management and price it's risky to commit so it is better to wait for reviews and check the real world experience of the car owners.

Honestly, I think the glass roof could be cool for the right person, but it’s not worth the hassle without better heat management. If I’m paying extra for a premium package, it should at least come with a proper shade option and some solid details about cost and comfort. I’ll wait to see how it performs long-term before considering it.
